MAINTENANCE
Keep your yard the envy of the neighbourhood and protect your investment!
Step 1
- 2-3 weeks for roots to establish
- While your new sod is establishing its root system, it is important to limit the traffic on it for two weeks.
- Test if sod is rooted by pulling on the grass edge, if it pulls away easily you know it needs more time to establish.
STEP 2
Don't forget to water!
Water daily for the first week, every other day for the second week and then less frequently. Weather conditions will dictate the amount and frequency of water.
STEP 3
Mowing
Mow your lawn at the end of week 2.
STEP 4
Fertilizing
Once your sod is established for approximately one season you should fertilize with a Turf Builder fertilizer.
